Terrorist threats today in Buffalo

Buffalo NPR news is reporting that several "credible" threats have been made to Buffalo businesses today. The threats specifically named which businesses and gave a time range of between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. The stores included two Tops locations and one Wal-Mart location as well as other businesses.

The threats say that Blacks will be the targets at those locations.

In a separate incident, yesterday, a man was arrested for making threats to a Buffalo pizza parlor and to a beer brewery. In his threats, he said that he would shoot the places up like Tops.

15. It seems I wouldn't want to enter a place of business in the US without

the same standards as an airport. In those carry states, leave the guns at the door, just like in the old west. It is getting crazy down there. Here in Canada, you cannot enter a hockey game, concert or other large events without going through security and we don't have the gun or mass killing problems to the degree of the US.

Hey, maybe take a page from the Bush/Cheney/Ashcroft page and round up the white men and boys and place them in detention - incommunicado. Like they did Muslim American men and boys in a certain age range.

Judges might actually frown when it is happening to white men though.

For years, warning after warning after warning about right-wing extremism and still right-wing extremists are treated with kid gloves.

No, I don't want anyone's rights violated. Merely pointing out the obvious discrepancies in treatment of black and brown people by law enforcement and the bending over backwards to be fair treatment of white extremists.

that guns will be checked pretty much everywhere, law or no law, most establishments not wanting gunfire.

So, unless one wants to cause a ruckus, and I am sure that many will, starting with the Capitol building, gun toters might have to stash them repeatedly in their unattended cars.

And nobody will notice.
