Et tu MSNBC?
Why do I even tune in early in the day to listen to hacks wax non-objectively about Democrats not having a unifying message without EVER asking the same about the QOP. Their bent seems to be that Democrats need a unifying message, but Republicans don't. If you're wondering why that is, it's because defenders of the Old Order always receive less scrutiny. The Republican party was a bastion of white nationalism long before Nicole Wallace (whom I do like) and Steve Schmidt left it, but even in progressive circles you could expect to hear "well, that's a broad generalization." Not until after yet another white nationalist terror attack in Buffalo do we finally admit how the Republican rhetoric leads to domestic terror. It's actually been the case for years. My advice to the early crew on MSNBC - pretend Republicans aren't white if that's what it takes for you to apply any scrutiny.

2. I've Stopped Watching CNN & MSNBC
Some of the anchors may share views similar to my own, but the bottom line is that it's all Bullshit.
I'm finally accepting of the Shithole country that we are, and don't need the media to point it out to me on an hourly basis, and then NOTHING changes. |

4. I don't watch early TV.
There's lots of thorough and thoughtful analysis on MSNBC @ night, Rachel and Lawrence shows this evening in particular very informed.

5. Maybe they really want Democrats to do well, and it would be nice
if Democrats really had a unifying message— whatever the heck that is and who says we don’t have one?
But you are right, GOPers unify around hate, terror, etc. |

11. YES!
Because MSNBC should know more than anyone that the Democratic message is always the same and it's what you have in your post watermark/stamp: Civil rights, civil liberties, social justice, stewardship of the planet. If MSNBC serves as home to Rachel, Symone, Lawrence et al, then they should lead with the objective fact that the Democratic message has always been the same.

12. Everybody knows the Democratic message: government.
Right-wing attacks on Democrats: big government overreach, tax & spend, socialism. Attacks from elsewhere: shadowy Democratic "establishment" ignoring the working class, "identity politics," not being socialists.
So everybody knows Democrats are the government party, for equality, health care, social safety net, civil rights. Republicans are the anti-government party (until it comes to taking away rights from anyone who is probably a Democrat). That's why people get so mad when Democrats are in office. Carter/Clinton/Obama/Biden: why didn't they fix everything immediately? They're the government! Only Democrats are blamed. Suddenly the federal government is expected to fix everything everywhere in a very large country with state governments and Democrats are mocked as losers for trying to help people by trying to make government work. But somehow the Democratic message is a big mystery. |

13. The Repugs did lose in 2018 and 2020.
They lost due to not doing anything with their majority or voters had that perception.

15. No, they didn't lose because of voting hundreds of times to repeal the ACA.
They have no policy, nobody expected anything. Republican voters don't vote for policy or getting anything done.

14. Or pretend that Democrats
are republicans and see how your criticisms change. Or vice versa.
