They assisted in the atrocities inflicted upon the men, women, and children of Ukraine, but it's good to know where your sympathy's lie.

They were very professional when they stopped him. I think CNN mentioned Ukraine doesn’t have the death penalty for that type of offense which is why he is likely facing life in prison.

The punishment is based on the crime, which is using espionage against his own countrymen to aid the Russians in their efforts (and those efforts include all the well documented atrocities). It doesn’t get much worse.
