Mitt Romney is not a man who deserves to lead this nation, through thin and especially not through thick. During one of the most severe storms in the Northeast ever, one which has caused Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer to declare in an e-mail just now, "Our subway system experienced the worst disaster in its 108-year history", Mitt Romney repeatedly refuses to answer journalists' questions regarding his policy stances on FEMA, or regarding whether or not he believes FEMA should be gutted as he already said he thinks it ought to:

(5,954 posts)a lying, feckless, corrupt asshole this guy is.
AFTER the election.
And it will be followed by a month of editorial commentary about "how could the American people have been so naive as to elect somebody like this?" without the obvious answer....because YOU assholes in the press were trying so hard to appear 'unbiased' that you never vetted this guy. You were so afraid of Rush Limbaugh accusing you of having a 'librul bias' that you let this douchebag SKATE on every serious issue.

(2,338 posts)The States can deal with this emergency. I'm sure that the budget cuts that I have imposed because I have given massive tax breaks to the rich (and, oh by the way- ME) have nothing to do with their inability to manage this disaster.
I do not take responsiblity for their lack of funds or the lives lost. It's their fault. My cutting services to the poor and federal assistance for these kinds of events is on them. Maybe the 47% can get to work cleaning up this mess - for a penny or less on my dollar via my tax sheltered money. They need to take responsibility for their own lives. I can't be bothered with THOSE people.

It kind of makes you wonder why they don't just ask campaign headquarters in the first place.
