Oregon Progressive McLeod-Skinner ahead of Blue Dog Kurt Schrader

Dave Wasserman
@Redistrict
In #OR05, progressive Jamie McLeod-Skinner (D) carrying Deschutes Co. (Bend) 70%-30% over Rep. Kurt Schrader (D). Looking very grim for the incumbent Blue Dog.

I voted for her when she ran in my area. Just too conservative in the south she needed to go north.

We might have moved there and would be voting for her. No taint of anti-Democratic or anti-democratic populist attitudes or extremism.

The national party virtually always supports the incumbent who was sent to congress by the constituents for reelection, so supporting incumbent blue-dog Schrader was baked in and no comment on her. Our house caucus will be glad to get her.

Latest: 61.3% to 38.7% with 55% of the vote counted.
