Meadows was the call center switchboard for the entire coup.

Everyone involved in the conspiracy had to go through Meadows to get to Trump. That's how Trump protects himself. I have been saying it from the beginning. Nail Meadows and he will sing like a jail house rat in order to save his ass.

I have no doubt the DOJ is investigating Meadows. It only takes one weak link to blow an investigation wide open. If I know this so does Garland and the DOJ. Meadows is a weak man who acts tough.

Garland has been silent about Meadows and Meadows has been very silent about Meadows. Sometimes silence is very loud.

That's in line with something that leapt out at me when I read one of the books that came out in the fall, either Betrayal or I Alone Can Fix It. As I recall the years Trump was in the White House, it seemed like Meadows managed to attract less attention than Priebus, Kelly or Mulvaney. But in one of those books--maybe both--Meadows was all over the place as an enabler extraordinaire. And maybe that's why he drew less attention.

The first three had their moments where they told Trump no and tried to stand up to him which resulted in Trump attacking them and going after them on Twitter. Meadows only ever asked "How high?" whenever Trump told him to jump, so he wasn't a target of Donny's ire as often.

ETA: It could have also been Landslide or Frankly, We Did Win This Election.

DOJ should have subpoenaed call records long ago. If they used burner phones, reverse engineer it from tracking the phone calls of the people we know who called the White House.

Meadows is the keystone.

At some point I don't think he even read his texts.

I think if Meadows was facing the threat of a long jail sentence, he would sing like a bird. He chose to be where he was.

The people who chose to get in bed with Donald Trump sold their souls. Meadows knows that if he turns, he is likely a dead man along with scores of family and friends who he cares about.

These people KNEW very well what Donald Trump was before they agreed to serve in his Administration. They know if they “behave”, they will be protected. If they misbehave, they know the consequences.

didn't know what they were getting themselves into. That's why there was so much turnover, especially early in the term.

Usually in a presidential administration, high turnover indicates a lack of ability to find the right talent. In the Trump administration, it indicated difficulty finding the people who were willing to commit crimes to keep their job.

One or more of whom will flip and implicate Trump.

Bannon and Flynn and the Jan 6 VIP’s may be held as accomplices, but those are the big three.
