1. I noticed that even in the Dem group all the people of color were on one side

There appeared to be two groups of 5 chairs of Dems but all the people of color were on one side.

That one uh woman in the Republican group was spewing talk radio BS. “Puppet” was telling. Oh and they don’t care about statues (even though they mentioned it) it’s about HISTORY. Complete nonsense.

The answer, "Yes. Because it's history."

The follow-up question that wasn't asked: If you believe in history, shouldn't we be telling the whole truth? Including the history of slavery? And is this the reason why you all are anti-CRT?

7. And that all those "Generals" tried to Destroy the USA,

To keep people enslaved, and were responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths of Americans.

But, hey -- heroes?

4. Why should anybody listen to anything these Republicans say. All they do is lie and slander
Thu May 19, 2022, 07:53 AM

Everyone knows they are incapable of telling the truth. Yet you see them day after day on these cable shows lying their asses off. And they’re allowed to just talk without being drowned out by some mansplainer like what happened to Judge Jackson. And every other woman who has tried to explain their reproductive systems to republican congressman

6. They lie because the unwashed Magats believe it.

I live among them, I know. They believe that the vaccine killed more people than the virus. They believe that masks don't work. They believe that the fence on the southern border is a wall. They believe that Democrats are evil and Trump was sent by god to rescue the country.

9. They believe these things because they've been told these things...almost exclusively.

"What happens when a group of Fox News viewers watch CNN for a month?...A study that paid viewers of the rightwing cable network to switch shed light on the media’s influence on people’s views"

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2022/apr/11/fox-news-viewers-watch-cnn-study

This study showed that people who were paid to watch only CNN, instead of their usual steady diet of FOX News, quickly changed their views after just a month. It is possible to deprogram these brainwashed folks: simply expose them to reality on a regular basis. How we accomplish this is another matter.

5. MSNBC has always pushed the right wing narrative,
Thu May 19, 2022, 07:54 AM

it may have put a progressive slant to the narrative but msnbc talked about what the right wanted talked about.

msnbc (COMCAST) 2 major shareholders; BlackRock and Vanguard.

I have posted this example a dozen or more times;

Fox News says president Obama beats his wife.
CNN says it needs more information.
msnbc says, no he doesn't, it's a lie.

All 3 networks are talking about president Obama beating his wife.

Simple, easy to understand, what cable news does.

There are anchors on msnbc who stray from the right wing narrative. I do watch Nicolle, Chris Hayes, and Rachel. Damn I miss Dylan Ratigan who was fired for exposing crony capitalism. I also miss Olbermann. Many more were fired by msnbc because they strayed from the narrative.

13. Dylan Ratigan understood our rigged, corrupt financial system all too well.

The author of "Greedy Bastards: How We Can Stop Corporate Communists, Banksters, and Other Vampires from Sucking America Dry" wouldn't stop talking about it, so he left (was fired?) MSNBC.

14. I have never actually watched Morning Joe. I think he comes on at 3 am or something, my time...

Besides, his voice grates on me. Can’t stand Chuck Todd at all.

I pick and choose the ones I like, and they are outstanding. So for me, MSNBC is very watchable.
