Russian elections are rigged. Political opponents are imprisoned or otherwise eliminated from the electoral process, the two-term president said.
The result is an absence of checks and balances in Russia, and the decision of one man to launch a wholly unjustified and brutal invasion of Iraq.
I mean of the Ukraine, heh, the gaffe-prone Republican said while shaking his head, squinting and smirking.
Iraq too, he then quietly muttered before saying, anyway

75, an apparent reference to his age, as the crowd chuckled.
Sorry but Fox News link. Having trouble with my iPad this morning.

(24,393 posts)Heh. No WMDs here!

My friends brother, an Army physician, was shot and killed in Iraq by an Iraqi-American officer who went nuts.
Had not the GOP Supreme Court stolen the election for Bush, Dr. Houseal would likely still be alive.
They still hunt down war criminals from WW2 - Bush confessed yesterday - there should be consequences.

(52,344 posts)Starting with Clinton's time, Republicans have launched a full out attack on Democratic presidents and their policies. But these Centrist type presidents had an Achilles Heel. They all thought they needed to compromise in order to move forward on their policies. Obama would realize that they weren't even going to do that for him, (because he was black). The ACA was the perfect example. It was actually a program started by the heritage foundation.
Bottom line, Republicans only respect tough, mean-spirited leaders. Maybe we should start going on the offensive in order to overcome the FoxNews lies network? Throw truth and consequences, because this country will always be divided until we all live by the same rules.

(52,344 posts)Iraq is a lost cause, when it comes to war crimes. The timing came and went. And I do believe the fact that we didn't insist on truth and correction, it allowed the Republicans to follow the insane path they have been following ever since.

Given the not so funny confession, I'd love to hear from the bothsideism posse.
He and his audience would not have been laughing if there were consequences for histhis war crimes.
