Hey Everyone
Thanks you to everyone who voted in the preliminary rounds of the May Photography contest. DU has spoken and I am as pleased as punch to present the favourite 9 piccis for you to decide the winner of this splendid competition. The winner gets to decide the theme of the next competition. This month Grumpy Old Guy decided the theme and he settled on "I pulled over for this shot."
This poll will be open for 72 hours so please spread the word. Also please do comment in the comment section, those who enter these competitions really appreciate the kindness and praise that their images inspire.

(24,781 posts)Wish I could vote more than once. That said, the cyclist in the Yellowstone photo...pretty close to that bison...and bison don't play.

(6,898 posts)Really close between Solstice and Seoul pics. With Dunes a close third. All so engaging!
Chose Solstice because I believe it to be the hardest to achieve getting the lights on the cars, the green traffic light, the red background and the sun all just so perfectly. Seoul looked so much like a painting which makes it so beautiful too.
Good job EVERYONE!

(23,092 posts)Voting in the finals is always the hardest part for me. I usually have some favorites, but there's hardly ever ONE favorite that stands out above ALL the rest, and this time was no exception. Picking just one is....argh!

(589 posts)ALL of those entries were beautiful.
But when I saw the one in St. Rémy I had a flashback to the stop we made there on an auto trip from Hamburg to Marseille.
Thanks to ALL the entrants!
