The prosecution is not, however, bound to tell the defense what use any bit of evidence may or may not be put to during the trial. Better get authorization from your clients to hire a whole bunch more attorneys to go through it all.

…if they have 250,000 documents and only turn over, 249,999…the Republican talking point is going to be “DOJ withholds required discovery from Proud Boys defense team”. Snd it’ll be a mess at trial. Discovery rules are the rules snd they’re there for a reason.

Yeah…4TB is a lot of data but what the hell did the defense attorney expect, that DOJ was going to court based on a 9 page PowerPoint???
