Democrats must tap into price gouging by the "GOP Oil Industry".

We know price gouging at the pump drives prices up everywhere. Not everyone else does though. That dirty energy resource has more money than God and uses much of it to lobby and support Republicans.

Dems need to focus on the fact that they can fix or hurt our economy at their whim and project that to voters. We need laws to hold gougers in check. And maybe this in tandem with personal choice could be a call to elect Dems to get progressives on the SCOTUS as well as lower courts.

IMHO Chuck Schumer should drive these issues into the mainstream. And Biden should bring serious attention to to these harmful entities - oil industry and SCOTUS.

ANYTHING that makes the voters think they'll be paying less for goods and services at the expense of greedy corporations (we should call them 'elites' and 'globalists' in fact) ... thanks to Democrats ... is a political winner.

Oil or gasoline?

Let me tell you what happens next. The oil company shuts down the wellsor refineries and sends employees home.

It's a natural resource doing great harm, with little oversight. They pay as much as necessary to keep pumping - into their coffers!!! They've totally abused their responsibility as providers of a vital service.

Tax them. Not us. That subsidy funding should go to businesses passing costs to consumers in order to prevent the endless cycle of price increases.

If the oil companies shut down their wells, the government can seize them and the refineries.

4. Here is a different POV on how to run.

"Sykes said, "one of the seminal works of conservatism is ideas have consequences and I think it's inarguable that toxic, racist ideas often have consequences and they are fatal consequences. So this vote yesterday on the domestic terrorism legislation was fascinating to me this same or pretty much the same piece of legislation was passed unanimously by voice vote in 2020, so what's happened? What's changed? Why would the Republican Party make it a party line vote to say, we are not going to take domestic terrorism more seriously?"

He suggested Democrats should campaign on terrorism like Republicans did during the 2002 midterms following the 9/11 attack."

Haven't heard anything since.

We better get on the ball. Midterms are fast approaching! No time to waste.

The hearings should also be televised during the evening hours. Let's show Americans the greed of these sobs.
