(1,828 posts)Power was out 22 hours. Lots of fires, but I haven't heard about any fatalities in the Philly area.

(7,549 posts)That is scary about the fires. I know being without power for a long time is also very hard especially when its damp and cold and your heat won't work.
Ours went out for quite awhile during the Ice Storm here in Western NY in 91.
We just got a small taste of Sandy here. Some trees and branches down, scattered power outages, and flooding, but Thank God no fatalities.
