There should be pro-gun-control commercials on prime-time TV every night,
and social media every day, showing politicians opposed to gun control making their asinine statements, with their words and images mixed with images of the school shootings, the funerals, the heartbroken parents.
There are a lot of talented producers who support the Democratic Party, and a lot of millionaires and even some billionaires who could fund this.
There's no reason NOT to hammer this message home.
Far too often, Democrats make cool, logical arguments, while Republicans go for emotion. Or, if Democrats make strongly emotional appeals, it's on the House or Senate floor, where few Americans will even hear about it.
We don't have the talk radio medium Republicans dominate.
But we do have more Democrats in the film and TV industries who could put their talents to use crafting gun-control messages that people who see them will never forget.
