The KILLER posted this to Facebook yesterday, after shooting his Grandmother.
That ends speculation as to where he was headed, and what his intentions were.

(25,272 posts)Also - am I being too suspicious - that he would actually post that he was on his way to shoot up an elementary school. That's seems to convenient to me that he would say that. What was his beef with elementary school students? What's the connection there?
Just asking?

(43,311 posts)that high school graduates in that town would go to elementary school graduations and high five the younguns when they graduated, and this loser failed to graduate high school. So he was angry?

1st, kill your parent/guardian. Now you have nothing to live for but infamy.
2 off the top of my head: Adam Lanza, Kip Kinkel.

(3,736 posts)Multiple reasons, causes, psychologies, pathologies, desires, egos, voices in the head; none of that matters when the gun in the hand is the one and only common element in all shootings.
Ignoring the carnage of gun is like ignoring the carnage of penis because the binding desire is too personal.

A Meta spokesperson confirms in the replies to this tweet that Uvalde shooter Salvador Ramos DID NOT POST THESE MESSAGES PUBLICLY.
He sent them to another user via Facebook Messenger and, per Meta, they were only discovered after the shooting happened.

Texas Gov. Abbott says the only "meaningful forewarning" of the Uvalde schooting was on Facebook about 30 minutes before.

(51,202 posts)FB said it wasn't "discovered" until after the shooting.
I believe the shooting was only like 30 minutes after the posts. How would it even be possible for FB to monitor every private message and act on reporting it?

(31 posts)I understand he was actually heading to his own high school where he had been bullied before he graduated he was so out of control that he crashed his own car in front of the elementary school. People came up to the car thinking somebody was hurt and tried to help them and he came out guns blazing.

(10,754 posts)But I don't have a link. Maybe it's all a part of the swirling information going around.
"After driving erratically across town, Ramos eventually crashed his car into a ditch near Robb Elementary School. Some bystanders approached the car to offer assistance.
"People thought that he was in trouble and so they jumped out to help him and he came out of his vehicle and started shooting at them," one person told the Spanish language network Telemundo."

(51,202 posts)You can't use what "other" people thought to infer his actions were spur of the moment.
He said he was going to shoot an elementary school. That's what he did. I don't give any weight to what people "thought" he was doing after he wrecked the car.

Many big events have sub-stories floating around almost immediately.
It often takes 3 days (or more) to start getting close to the truth.
