There will be no more gun control

I have heard it time and time again, the right feels after 50 years of constant pressure to limit their constitutional rights that it will never end so they are putting enormous amounts of pressure on lawmakers to oppose any further gun control. Don't expect any support or votes from them because they won't do shit.

What kind of a society allows its children to be slaughtered as they sit in their school classrooms.

what you talkin about Willis?

The theocratic Nazi states of 'Merica are busy passing laws to make gun ownership EASIER.

Wouldn't surprise me to find grenade launchers and full machine guns are next up.

Fuck it, remotely operated armed drones will be next.

"Gov. Ron DeSantis reaffirmed his support for a change in state law that would allow residents to carry concealed guns without needing permits, and predicted the Florida Legislature "will get it done."

"I can’t tell you if it’s going to be next week, six months, but I can tell you before I am done as governor, we will have a signature on that bill,” said the Republican governor during a press conference in Friday in rural Levy County to talk about a separate issue— local infrastructure funding."

I didn't read the link but what in the hell is going on with these people? Absolutely no common sense, no logic is meandering in their grey matter.

This country has become the cuckoo's nest.

will anything be done.

When Ted Cruz's daughter is shot, or some other republicans senators kid, and has to be identified by DNA, THEN there will be movement on gun control. But until then, count on nothing being accomplished.

But since the eruption of the Qparty I don't think he or any other like him would react that way. They would not blame the gun but the person. Just like today.

A minority of the population controls government in this country. McConnell represents about 30% of the population, but controls 50% of the senate. That makes our GOVERNMENT center right, but survey after survey indicate that as a POPULATION we are significantly more progressive. Our country is dividing itself rural/urban and there is vastly more urban population than rural. I'm just not sure how it will play out over time. But I don't think that this country can long last like this.

could do this or that to stop the carnage. If anything guns will be more accessible next month. Unless we would get a super majority in the Senate nothing will happen.

They are responding to the people who fund their campaigns, or at least threaten to fund adversaries if they do not continue to reject any type of legislation for gun safety.

What we need is to vote in a super majority of Democrats that are actually willing to make the legislative changes that will improve people's lives, including discussion of and legislation toward gun safety reforms that make it harder for people with bad intentions, to get access to guns.
