(21,030 posts)1. He has a long term strategy.
2. He knows his argument frame.
3. He refuses to be nice.
4. He is throwing punches.
In a nutshell, he is getting across to voters. Beto got under the skins of Gregg Abbot and the Mayor of Uvalde, Texas. Getting into "good trouble" in the way Beto can. Rest assure he will be in Houston on Friday to join in on any protesting when the NRA has their rah-rah convention.

(10,015 posts)crooks in Texas at the school were representing the other 10%. They kicked out the voice of the American people, and stood for the dregs.

(9,332 posts)This man has passion; he isn't afraid to speak truth to power.
There's not a bit of bullshit in this guy.
On the other hand, Abbott, Patrick, and Paxton could fertilize a 10,000 acre farm with the crap they're spewing out...human manure spreaders.
And they're totally unconcerned about the deaths their morally depraved and spiritually bankrupt gun policies are causing.

a brief description of his sad life pretty much indicates he had severe mental issues that were never addressed

This clip was inside and when he spoke, the security around Abbott looked very threatened and then they started advancing on Beto.
I wish I could watch it twice. Wow, unbelievable.
The beginning of the segment talked about how Abbott was saying guns are not the problem.
I don't live in Texas and from what I've heard they're gun crazy down there, so maybe Abbott can get away with this. I find it unbelievable myself.

(56,307 posts)Jump into the rage and shock and anger while it's raw and hot, instead of cowering into the background with fear. Couple the rage with change while people can really feel it. This is how it's done. This is how you make change.

(665 posts)He's got nothing to lose. He needs to keep being confrontational calling out the Repubs. Being nice will not work.
