4. Yes, Amazon is somewhat similar to eBay.

There are tens of thousands of "stores" run by other individuals and companies that are otherwise independent of Amazon. Amazon just provides them a network in which to sell their stuff. I'm not going to click on that link, because I don't want that garbage in my Amazon algorithm, but I'm betting it's being sold by an independent seller.
