Have people thought about that?" Walker said, referring to the 18-year-old alleged shooter in Uvalde, Texas. "We've gotta get back into prayer. People thinking now praying is bad. No, it's not bad. We need to pray for things like that. We need to continue to go out and fight, continue to take your constitutional rights away, and I think we can't do that."
Someone needs to remind this rat-bastid pro-athlete that if he had been an employee for his local sewer department, they'd be looking to take away his right to vote. He'd be doubly worried if, as a person of color, he had a uterus. TAKING RIGHTS AWAY?????
And that there's nothing that stops anyone from praying anywhere. You bow your head, you say a prayer. Kids can do that at school anytime (in fact most do whenever there is a pop-quiz). What people are not entitled to is a microphone for their prayer that is supported by tax-payer funds. Oh, and if the kids are there to learn, you can't eat into "learning time." (So none of this moment of silence crap.) The kids can pray at their lockers, they can pray over their lunch, they can pray in the showers after phys ed. Let the party of "personal responsibility" teach their kids to pray on their own--as the bible instructs them to do.
This is EXHIBIT A of why these RWNJs are backing out of debates.
GA is waking up, and thanks to Stacey Abrams, they're voting.

OP
Many of our right wing brethren want to put public prayer and the Bible back in the schools.

I know they have no shame, but the GOP should be embarrassed at going along with this foolishness. I am sure they will not allow a debate with Senator Warnock.
SMDH.

That's decades of under-funding public education.
I swear their motto should be "Keep them stupid and you keep your power."

become a minister, not a Senator.

They have no qualms about using the gov't to foist their own religious beliefs on the children in public schools without letting the parents decide how they want their children raised.
