(9 posts)This is not helpful....we should post a picture of our congressional leaders who are ultimately responsible for this incident as well as last and future incidences. Based on the size of the town the people in the photo likely have other full time jobs and are on call for response. I am sure they all take their duty seriously and to imply other is unfair.

(9 posts)The town is 15000. I live in a town of less than 10000. Some of this I can understand, and I do not want to think there could be other factors. I prefer for the time now to blame our lack of gun control with assault weapons.

Turning this into a cop thing is what the gun manufacturers and Republicans would love us to do. It takes the outrage off of the gun manufacturers and Republicans and turns it into just another "cops bad" show rerun. Since that helps the real perps avoid accountability, I would argue that makes it not just ineffective but wrong.
