Since the story broke authorities have painted a picture of brave cops rushing into confront and engage the cowardly fuck at the beginning of the mass shooting. Depending on who was telling the story there were two or three officers that chased and shot at the suspect who returned fire. The official story is that two of those officers were, again depending on who's telling the story, injured or shot during the exchange with the cowardly killer. The official story was/is the cops would have stopped the child murderer if they hadn't been wounded and had to withdraw and wait for backup. Where are they? There has been no statement that I have seen about their medical condition after being wounded or shot. Wouldn't you think these guys would be front and center if they're not seriously injured and paraded around as heroes? Or if they are seriously injured don't you think that story would have been released as well?
I have never seen it take 48 hours to release an officer, wounded in the line if duty, name and photograph.
If this information has been released, I be will update those post.
It's fucking weird.
The defensive and evasive way in which the police spokespeople talk about this incident and refuse to answer questions when challenged wreaks of cops knowing they fucked up and is carefully as possible shading the truth.
There's no way in hell they don't know the timeline of the shooting from the moment that piece of s*** entered the front door of that school. That school has multiple security cameras with time stamps on them. I don't think we'll see those videos for quite some time if ever. But the police at this point know exactly what happened and when it happened inside that school.

(51,308 posts)There are pictures online of a head wound. Looks like he had a close call.
They've backed off the bullshit story of an SRO confronting the murderer, so probably no one else was injured.

(2,454 posts)From my understanding was not assigned to that school but he was in the area in his patrol car when the initial call came in about a man with a gun, responded and was there on the scene within minutes he was there so quickly that he saw the shooter enter the school.. School resource officers are fully certified police officers they carry weapons probably tactical rifles in there vehicles.. So when the spokesperson said there was not a resource officer on scene, he was lying or at the very least obscuring the truth.

(55,137 posts)In a press conference on Wednesday, Texas Department of Public Safety director Steven McCraw said a school resource officer the Uvalde City School District reportedly retains its own police department, staffed with a chief, five cops, and a security guard, according to the Intercept engaged Ramos as he approached Robb Elementarys back door. Ultimately, McCraw said, the subject was able to make it into the school.

(24,906 posts)I wonder if some were injured by friendly fire. If not, that would be about the only fuck-up they didn't make.

(20,663 posts)of it when law enforcement personnel are injured in the course of duty, and there are multiple stories, including covering their release from the hospital. Why are we hearing NOTHING about these alleged injured officers?
