Will Boyd (running for Alabama Senate) is really good

He clinched the Democratic nomination on Tuesday with 64% of the vote, avoiding a runoff. On the Republican side, Mo Books and Katie Britt are in a messy runoff.

Is there any conceivable way that Boyd could win in November, or should I not waste my time donating to him?

He probably won't win if Doug Jones lost, but I don't know if that makes it a waste of money. How much were you going to donate? If it's not too much, I'll match yours.

If the race looks competitive, maybe another $100. While it's true that Doug Jones lost to Tommy Tuberville, Mo Brooks is far worse than even him. If he were to get the nomination, I think Boyd might have a chance. Brooks might also get indicted.
