Credit Card Companies use policies to regulate the sale of porn on the internet. Why not guns?

In return for bribes.

And the corrupt politicians raise funds and get votes with gun violence.

Wealthy oligarchs and politicians in cahoots for money and power.

2. credit card not even necessary in many instances

The gun companies will sell weapons without credit cards. Like a store credit. You agree to make payments.

That's how this latest kid bought his. No money down, no credit necessary. He didn't even have an ID.

This would be a start. And we have to start somewhere.

It's another way to make money, charging interest. Sears was probably a leader in that category at their peak. Used car lots, furniture stores etc., they all do it.

Sales should be via credit card only. Owner name and credit card name should match exactly or no sale. No debit cards either.

Why?

Because each sale will then be in a monitorable database.

Also 18 year olds tend not to have credit cards in their own name.
