Navarro is subpoenaed by the DOJ and Sussman is found not guilty in the Durham trial.

They had high hopes that Hillary was going to go to jail for the Russian "hoax" but the jury did not buy what they were selling.

Navarro wanted everyone to believe it was just a minute amount of arsenic in the drink and it was not poisonous. Stealing an election and obstructing Congress in its official duties was no big deal. It was just like a football play in the NFL - the Green Bay Swipe.

The gist of the allegation, what was supposed to make it a crime, is that Mr. Sussman had an ulterior motive for tipping the authorities, which he did not disclose. People are supposed to draw the inference that, had he disclosed it, his information would have been dismissed. This is arrant nonesense. Police do not inquire about a tipster's motive, it does not matter a rap whether an informant is prompted by civic duty or malice. The information will be looked into, and judged on its merits. Everyone, and that includes any prosecutor, knows this. Durham ought to be discharged, disbarred, and pelted with garbage at every opportunity.

Trump kept talking about the Russian "hoax" but Durham said nothing about a "hoax". At times, it seemed like Trump was trying to squeeze information out of Durham that he did not have. He may have discovered that there was more to the Trump/Russia connection than Mueller had discovered? He may not have been as friendly to Trump as Trump wanted people to believe? Just a hunch. The acquittal does not reflect very well on the story that Trump wanted Durham to tell.
