If you have ever lived in the south, you can hear the derision in their voices as they talk about northerners.

No remorse, no regret at all about starting a war to maintain slavery.

and they still think white supremacy should always be the law of the land for the U.S.; anyone who would deny it on their side is just kidding themselves, that's the essential platform of their party, and why they don't seem to have any particular policies or agenda aside from "do whatever dear leader says," b/c they aren't quite comfortable saying the truth out loud.
