Number Of Times Republicans Quote CHICAGO Gun Deaths After Mass Shootings...

A tale of two messages:

1. Number of times Republicans quote shootings in CHICAGO after a mass shooting? EVERY F--KING TIME.

2. Number of times Democrats respond by pointing out that 60% of the guns used in Chicago crimes come from other states with LOOSE gun laws, and that this is PROOF that something needs to be done about guns on a FEDERAL level? Predictably... NEVER!

I swear, if I had my way, I'd fire every single Democratic Party campaign consultant and spin doctor, and start fresh. The whole lot of them are useless. How can a political party be right on every issue, and yet have a professional pundit class that's incapable of turning ANY of that into an effective campaign message?

They make Chicago out to be some crazy hellscape when reality is.
The following ten states have the highest gun deaths per capita (per 100,000): Alaska (24.4), Mississippi (24.2), Wyoming (22.3), New Mexico (22.3), Alabama (22.2), Louisiana (22.1), Missouri (20.6), South Carolina (19.9), Arkansas (19.3), and Montana (19.3).

I am guilty - guilty of making many small donations across the board, and then being spread onto every damn fund-raising source as a mark to ask for more money.

My Spam folder is full every morning, as well as my postal mailbox.
I give generously to several charities, but these charities sell my contact information to every charity in the universe.
The ones I dislike the most are the charities that send you un-asked for trinkets or clothing for the express purpose of making you feel guilty enough to send a donation.
As far as politicians go.......well, we all know how that goes. I'm besieged by requests for money from every corner of the country. Political races from people I've never heard about, from republicans as well Yeah, I'm going to give my money to the enemy.
What irritates me is being generous enough to contribute to a worthy charity, but then they sell your information! I realize they can use the money, but give me a break! 😠
