Speaking of "without accountability" Megyn KELLY calls Jon STEWART a p***k & Woke
So Teh Megyn, protege of Brit HUME, has succeeded in my sticking up for him, for now. My context is: Years ago I took him at face value as his being a Lib. i never watched him any more than I do anybody else on a Following (none) basis, loved his barbs against wingnuts, glossed his occasional barbs on Libs as even handed comedy. Then I blanked when he might have gotten CNN's Crossfire cancelled (let's not do this one again, please). Then my confusion increased when he started playing nice to get along with Glen BecKKK, worse when he mirrored BecKKK's "unity" rally in DC with one supposedly from the Lib side that turned out to be some kind of Hippie-Dippy Renaissance Fair thing with bubbles and the Mythbusters dweebs, about which MAHER said, "If you're going to have an event, it needs to be *about* something." But whatever was left for me was torn when he really really started reaching out to O'REILLY with nice-nice joint appearances - again, to GET ALONG? As I say, I never watched continually, but now I seemed to peg him as a Third Way type like the Law & Order dude. He's no COLBERT - loveya, Stephen! - and I know they're best buds (let's not, again).
But if Teh Megyn calls him names - Hi, Jon, (for now).

She concluded, “That’s just who he is. Right? So I think people found something charming about his comedy routine on that show and that legacy has stayed with him. He’s done some good work for the veterans. No one would take that away from him, but he’s a prick. I’m sorry, but he’s a jerk and you can see it in full scope with you (Andrew SULLIVAN) .”
