As we approach the anniversary of D-Day on the 6th of June when I've

read accounts of the 1st Division landing on Omaha Beach, under murderous MG 42 fire (that gun makes the AR-15 look like a squirt gun) I don't recall the soldiers saying, "I'm gonna wait on...anybody else."

And they didn't even have cowboy hats.
