The Tulsa mayor, in thanking the first responders, noted that there was no hesitation by officers from multiple agencies to go into the medical building and find the shooter. First officers arrived within four minutes of the first 911 call. There were shots heard immediately and it was only about three more minutes before they located the scene on the second floor. The shooter had a handgun and a long gun.
