Whoopi Goldberg Tells NRA They Have To 'Give Up' AR-15s, Says 'You Can Have Your Other Yeehaw Guns

Whoopi Goldberg took on the NRA and AR-15s recently on The View.

In the wake of the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas, Goldberg gave a passionate plea to end gun violence in a recent panel on the long-running ABC daytime talks show The View.

“Listen: this AR-15s got to go,” Goldberg declared.

“I don’t care, NRA,” she said. “You’ve got to give that gun up. You can have your other yeehaw guns, whatever you want. The AR-15 is not a hunting gun. It is not a gun where you’re going to go out and shoot your dinner.

Assault weapons are restricted to one made before 1968 and subject to a 6 months background check and tax stamp.

same as the rest of us... being a POC, I say she has as much or more skin in the game for her 1st amendment rights. Celebrity or not, makes not difference. YMMV, obviously.

And we've got to try *something*. the AR15 seems to be THE gun these shooters love to use the most. Why? What makes them the gun of choice? Speed of the kill? Amount of ammo?

What can be done about them? I'm all for at least trying for a buyback program. Get at least some off the street. People are getting fed up with this crap. Not the least of which is not being able to feel safe no matter where they go or what they do. You want to drive people even crazier? This will drive even sane people nuts really fast.
