Pennsylvania Democratic Senate nominee John Fetterman went to an appointment Wednesday afternoon at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital, his first follow-up visit since being discharged from the hospital after being treated there for a stroke.
He was seen by the same physicians who cared for him last month.
The 52-year-old Fettermans doctors are very happy with how he is healing from his stroke, his wife, Gisele, said in an exclusive interview with POLITICO.
The neurologists, they were really impressed with the progress. Cognitively, hes perfect and well on his way to a full recovery, said Gisele Fetterman. Everything went well with the cardiologists. His heart is looking good. Pacemaker is working as its supposed to.

(7,866 posts)....We need him! I'm getting ready to put his yard signs up again, in my front yard for the General Election. Do you think it is too soon? I usually wait until Sept. but I'm getting anxious!

(252,221 posts)A friend of mine who ran for state office in New Hampshire once told me that lawn signs are important since people are more likely to vote for names that are familiar to them. And we both know that a lot of voters don't go by much more than that...

Last election I had it with my lawn signs. Once, I saw a man in a car passing who slowed enough to give the sign the "finger". You could see he was angry and surprised to see it in a "red" area. I admit I had to LOL!

(252,221 posts)I remember seeing a news segment a few years back about a couple in Colorado who were cruising around in a van stealing opposition lawn signs! They finally got caught since it was after dark and the husband walked into a clothesline he didn't see which knocked him down and out! The homeowner found this guy lying unconscious in his driveway and called the cops - and they discovered the wife and the van full of stolen lawn signs and arrested the pair of them!

(7,866 posts)Once, my son saw a kid jump out of a mini-van to steal my Al Gore sign. He ran out to confront him and said that he saw the boy jump back into "his mother's" van.
Imagine teaching your child to steal anything!
Weird stuff happens here in deep red SC-PA!
