Putin had 'advanced cancer treatment in April' according to US intelligence

Vladimir Putin received treatment for 'advanced cancer' in April, US intelligence sources have claimed.
The Russian president's health has been under intense scrutiny since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine amid footage of him looking bloated, with trembling hands and reports of mysterious disappearances. It has also been claimed the leader is constantly accompanied around the Kremlin by a team of doctors.

This is related and may be of interest:

Russian president Vladimir Putin has apparently been given a maximum of three years to live by doctors.

A number of unconfirmed reports in recent weeks have suggested the 69-year-old president’s health has been deteriorating quickly.

And now an officer from the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia has claimed Putin ‘has no more than two to three years to stay alive’ due to ‘a severe form of rapidly progressing cancer’.

Messages apparently seen by FSB defector Boris Karpichkov from an unidentified Russian spy also claim Putin is losing his sight and suffering from headaches.

Additional details on symptoms he is exhibiting at this link (scroll down, lots of ads):

It would be wonderful if Putin paid for his poisonings and other murders by getting cancer.
But whether he actually has cancer is another issue.
It's always an obscure, rinky dinky source reporting on cancer..
I highly doubt US source would choose "Metro UK" over the NYT, Washington Post, WSJ etc.

2-3 years max, that seems like an odd timeframe. Doesn't seem like a number doctors would give out like that. They usually talk in 5 year mortality increments, or if it's really not helpable they talk in months.

2-3 years seems like they'd still have plenty of opportunity to try different treatments.

Vladimir Putin's health is a subject of intense conversation inside the Biden administration after the intelligence community produced its fourth comprehensive assessment at the end of May. The classified U.S. report says Putin seems to have re-emerged after undergoing treatment in April for advanced cancer, three U.S. intelligence leaders who have read the reports tell Newsweek. ...............(more)
