(113,190 posts)as good as his performance, it only made me miss Pavarotti even more. His performances of that piece were the pinnacle imo. Sigh...

(1,573 posts)As beautiful as it was, Pavarottis is indeed the pinnacle, no question. I had the opportunity to hear him sing it live once & meet him briefly afterwards, something I will never forget.
