clever to do that since the coach is too rough for the queen to ride in.

We dont need to move on to King Charles. We can just keep a hologram of Queen Elizabeth around of State ceremonies.
Perhaps the fact that the Queen (at age 96) wasnt healthy enough to participate says something?

I remember watching Elizabeth's coronation on television back in 1953. My family did not own a TV at the time, but our neighbor invited us to their house to watch the coverage.
I have a good memory, but I think the unusalness of watching television insured that I remembered this event.
