I honestly think we could get expanded background checks and clsing the gun show loophole passed now

I don't think most republican lawmakers honestly care about those two issues, they were probably saving them for a time when they were really under fire and needed something to give. That time is now, take what we can get when we can get it.

= too many classrooms full of dead little kids. The KIDS are under the fire!

I think you're right though. They were saving space. 😬

Guns bought at a gun show require background checks. A private sale in the Wal Mart parking lot does not. At least where I’m from.

And sell weapons without a background check. All licensed fire arms dealers cannot.

any individual or someone with a gun table asks to buy it "sold" no check. I think individuals without
a dealers license can rent a table can buy and sell without a check. I think a registered firearms dealer can buy a gun from you
but must run the background check to sell you one.

No different than posting it online and selling in a parking lot. The argument against universal background checks is that it creates a back door registry.

My question was why he would be opposed to an individual coming to his shop and paying him
$20 or so to run a check, he could make some money for providing the service. His argument
the NRA line it would lead to taking all our guns. This was 40 years ago and not one thing has changed.

11. I agree. Background checks should be easily available to those doing private sales.

As for online purchases, gunbroker, midway USA etc…. those have to ship to an FFL (dealer) who charges a fee to do a background check before handing it to the buyer.

Then everyone starts with a clean slate on their 18th birthday. Background checks are pointless in that case. Need to include psychological profile from high school or else raise age to purchase to 21.

Kel Tec Sub 2000. I guess it’s an AR of sorts?? 33 round mag, and can fold up in a backpack.

I posted it on a message board. We met in the parking lot at my work. He showed me his license to carry (he didn’t have to) venmo’d me the money, and I handed him the rifle.
