I would absolutely love it if in the middle of each publuc hearing, the committee played a video montage lasting a good five to ten minutes of any witness pleading the fifth in regards to pertinent testimony that day.
No better way to connect the dolts uhm I mean dots. All these people were so proud to do the deeds, full well knowing that they were committing crimes against the United States.
Oh, and for good measure, play the tape of TFG saying no need to plead the fifth if you haven't done anything wrong at the start of each montage.

(27,819 posts)Once they re-installed Trump, any evidence of their crimes could be flushed down a toilet, or burned in Mark Meadows' fireplace.
I'm sure they all thought they'd be 'rewarded' by Trump after-the-fact - although you'd think that by then, they all knew that in TrumpWorld, loyalty only goes one way.
I often wonder how many of the conspirators now spend sleepless nights thinking, "If only I hadn't been fucking stupid enough to get involved in this shit, I wouldn't be swimming in my own flop-sweat right now."

(31,067 posts)But as Liz Cheney pointed out Trump is showing no remorse, never apologized to the country for what he did. That should mean jail time. I wonder if Peter Navarro will ever have any regrets. I think malignant narcissism precludes regrets

A classic case of nothing can possibly go wrong - until it all DID go wrong.
