Can you perhaps see talking at cross purposes?

Add to which: no voter will feel better that other Countries are having problems; they'll vote based on what our leaders do (or don't do) about the problem here.

as outside of the Fed's monetary policy, inflation is the hands of China (supply chain defects due to Covid lock down policy) and Russia (Ukraine war associated oil sanctions boosting oil prices). US leaders can't do much about inflation. However, if inflation improves, he can eventually claim an economic miracle like Reagan, though outside of reappointing the Fed Chairman, he won't have done much, as was the case for Reagan who benefited from Carter's appointment of Paul Volcker.

but it doesn't pass the bumper sticker test! Just sayin'..

Biden needs to start thinkin' outside the box, and right quick! Is he up to it? (I have my doubts.)

Time to swing for the fences, Joe. Do a slew of executive orders and tie up the Goppers in court about it. Stall. Bury them in tactical delays. Ignore judges' edicts (especially from the 5th Circuit!) 'Cause that's what the other side is doing, Joe!

He could:

Remove pot from the "list", and free every pot convict from prison. Restore their voting rights while you're at it.

Wipe out all student debt - just "mint" a "special coin" and declare them all paid in full. Repeat every time anyone graduates!

Put a special prosecutor into the SEC and start bilking the crap out of Wall Street - make them pay! Fine the ever-lovin' shit out of them for even the tiniest of infractions. Make some dough, and shovel it all into Social Security and Medicare. Declare copays illegal!

Declare Election Day a National Holiday. Dare Congress to try and stop you! There's no law that says businesses can't just go along, and most don't even give us the holidays we now have. So just trash any company as being unpatriotic if they don't give us all that day off. Start playing hardball!

Basically, start thinking like the other side and, as Nike says, Just Do It!

And, just because we have laws doesn't mean you have to enforce them all the time --you get to pick and choose, Joe! We've seen it happen, over and over and over...

Declare Mashmallow Law and dispatch the Gespacho Police!

Declare abortion a human right. Declare that the Feds will pay for any woman, anywhere, to get the reproductive care she needs. Send in the Marine choppers, if needed! States be damned! The Mommy State is back, bitches! You don't like it? Hmmm, well we'll just see which side your mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, aunts, nieces and granddaughters are on!

Call. Their. Bluff!

Go all FDR on their ass!

Yeah.. I know. We're the "sensible side", just watching it all go down in flames while we follow their sickening "laws". But law does not equal justice, and there's certainly no equal justice under the law, so why follow theirs? They've already embraced "extra-legal means" of accomplishing their goals. Who says, gosh gee, oh well, that's the law! Laws? Laws are for SUCKERS who don't know how to play the game, right? They wanna litigate, so GIVE them something to litigate! Then re-litigate their litigation. Counter-sue, bro! That's what THEY do!

'Cause that's what Joe will be going up against, next time around.

it matters here when people see the cost of groceries and gas and other things cost a lot more.
