We fought the British, the Germans, and the Japanese...

...all in the name of democracy. Young men and women from every walk of life were willing to put their lives on the line for our "democracy".

Once again our democracy is threatened. By enemies, both foreign and domestic. Our democracy is under attack from fascists.

Yet, we question whether or not the American people will fight to defend it this time? Will they even watch the hearings to educate themselves about what happened when our Capitol was attacked? Some don't even seem to care.

Can our democracy survive under such conditions?

We must find a way to stop playing defense and go on the offensive or we may no longer have a democracy.

Doesn't seem like form of government would be high on their list.

My grandparents were immigrants to the US. They left everything behind with just the clothes on their back, so they could give their children and grandchildren a better life.

Those days appear long gone.

Use all the Constitution and whatever you can find or manufacture there. Mitch did.

Did you see the NM candidate dissect 2A by including all references to militia in the Constitution? Where were our guys with this over the last 20 years? Remember, enumerated powers are not by any measure all the powers. What's not reserved to the states is federal or state, and expect litigation.

Editorializing, it seems to me the Deep State includes both sides of the aisle, gaining inside dope and then retiring to use what they know. No one wants to rock the boat. Our system is paralyzed, allowing might to make right. DOJ is enforcing the US Code, but not using all the Constitution. Our path out of this is the document, but we need 10 Jamie Raskins and 6 more Marc Eliases.

Our Learned Founders read pure gold, because nothing else was available. No magazines, no internet, no social media. Just scholars. They were the end of the Enlightenment. Now it's called Woke and ridiculed. But it carries the wisdom of government forward, if someone would read it and use it for the public good instead of private interests, like the big right wing think tanks.
