A question about presidential pardons

Glenn Kirschner has spoken about the possibility that Trump gave his inner circle "pocket" pardons, i.e., pardons that weren't announced publicly. He draws this conclusion, in part, because Giuliani testified before the January 6th committee and never invoked his Fifth Amendment rights. Kirschner said that if Giuliani had a secret pardon and then took the Fifth it would be fraud since he was already inoculated for any crimes. Ergo, he answered the questions.

I've heard discussions that it is illogical for a president to pardon himself but that never stopped Trump.

Could Trump have pardoned himself, his kids, Meadows, Giuliani, Eastman, Miller et al. and told them to keep their pardons secret until or if they were indicted?

Wouldn't any pardons have to be entered in the National Archives or other repository? Who would have access to those documents?

TIA

How or even if a pardon is announced.

But at some point, you have to produce one in court. If the doj knows about them and is keeping them a secret, shame on them.
