Assassination does not have to be a well-known target. Its use is prevalent in times of unrest or change. This violence as an extension of politics is nurtured, given comfort, a kind of "come hither" by those who can not win fairly at the ballot box. @cnn @jimsciutto

He did shoot famous people Vernon Jordan (who he saw with a white woman) and Larry Flynt (who printed pictures of black men with white women in Hustler magazine), but also 20 plus others.
He often planned very careful assaults and escape routes.
I think he fit the definition of assassin.

(7,545 posts)Many of his targets seemed to be related to interracial couples, including Flynt for those photos. He laid in wait outside a store about two blocks from where I lived at the time and killed an interracial couple coming out of a supermarket. It's incredible how long these RW nutjobs since the civil rights movement have been perpetrating atrocities. It is terorism and continues today, obviously.
