Joe Biden is the best President of my lifetime and he protected this too:
These are prairie wetlands that help to recharge the ground water in the great plains protecting them was a
priceless act by the Biden administration. This will helps farmers, ranchers, wildlife, the ecology, and these
areas can help suck up CO2 from the atmosphere too.

(2,520 posts)Although I am looking forward to EV and clean air. Until weve handled the conversion from gas to electric this is our pain.
We blame the leader. My only concern would be if the November elections changes us back to gas. The our gained pain would be in vain

BTW If I were a I would think that some people and organizations like the high gas prices
because "they hurt Joe Biden."

That's like someone claiming Biden has control of the rain ... GZP aren't critical thinkers

(11,920 posts)of Chuck Schumer blaming Trump for gas prices of $3 per gallon in 2018. Expect to see that played incessantly as we get closer to midterms.

(82,383 posts)would not try to do anything about it, or would do something stupid, like lower taxes for the rich.
At least Biden is trying to do something and something that would be effective.

They are not lapdogs though. There has been extensive coverage of Uhuru's snubbing of his Deputy Pres, Ruto and Uhuru's alliance with his old opponent Raila Odinga.
The difference is they cover what people actually do.

I blame corporate greed, but then I'm not a republican.

(82,383 posts)Tell Republicans to "get a better job." That's their answer when you talk of any poverty.

(94,541 posts)It matters that voters expect the President to find a solution, or take the blame.
Beat up on uneducated voters all you want. They'll still show up in November.
Justified or not, the administration always owns the economy and gets praise or blame depending on what it is. Just the way it is; no one should act surprised about it.
Does anyone doubt that if Republicans were in charge, we wouldn't be blaming them for gas prices and inflation daily?
treestar
(82,383 posts)If people would use their brains instead of letting the MSM think for them. Too often our side caves in to this concept. It's gotten to the point where reason is not to be used. Trouble is, reason is easier to manage than emotions.
treestar
(82,383 posts)If people are just so unreachable and will never use their noggins? We could at least try to campaign about what he is doing rather than just giving up.
brooklynite
(94,541 posts)Exactly. NOT campaigning on "blame Big Business".
Personally, I think we can do a lot better in framing the positives that we have accomplished; something the WH Comms unit seems unwilling to take on.
blame President Biden. I blame the oil industry oligarchs that hate Biden. They are the ones we should be screaming at. There is little to nothing the president can do. We can do something by not driving as much (unless you drive for a living), combine your errands, slow down on highway, tires with proper pressure.

My comment and reference was taken down within seconds but yet there are posts that are able to stand bashing Biden on a friends FB page claiming this is all Bidens fault. Am I missing something here or is FB now made up of Fox News producers?

(70,504 posts)... used their veto power and stopped that bill. (I think) It is almost like they
want high gas prices so as to hurt the American people and they will blame
President Biden for something he is not responsible for. BTW Saudi Arabia is
not helping either because they want to hurt Biden too.

GoodRaisin
(8,922 posts)Not much more to understand. If they hear CNN or M$NBC talking heads bashing Joe for gas prices or inflation they accept it as news. The M$M did the same thing to Joe on Afghanistan, spinning up a story about his terrible withdrawal to tank his approval ratings. Even people here were soaking up CNNs shit.
