Rosen knows that what he just heard was effective and persuasive, so it must be discredited at the earliest opportunity. Look for more folks to use "grandstanding" as a way to derail the conversation before it veers too close to some actual reform of firearm regulation.

I live in El Paso..almost three years ago a gunman walked into Walmart and killed 23 people and injured 23 others..we still feel the loss..it's personal and palpable..I'm not a McConaughey fan, but I saw the anguish on his face and heard it in his voice..he's angry and it's an anger that doesn't go away...
