It's bad enough people feel the high gas prices on their own but the constant battering by the media

makes people feel worse. It seems like every 15 minutes CMM and MSNBC about high inflation and high gasoline prices make the situation must worse. It's like a mantra that keeps being drummed into your head. I stopped watching cable and ll other news until there are some special events being reported. No talk about a reduced deficit and a lower trade deficit or about the good deeds of people reaching out to those hurt by mass shootings or natural disasters. I haven't heard one report about the cancer trial that ended with 100% of the research subjects in remission.

be the subject until the next big mass murder. I wonder if they can keep their mouth shut during the J6 hearings or
break in to tell us what was said every 2 minutes. I can't watch it anymore last night I watched Life Below Zero.

You say you stopped watching cable news, but then complain about " No talk about a reduced deficit and a lower trade deficit or about the good deeds of people reaching out to those hurt by mass shootings or natural disasters. I haven't heard one report about the cancer trial that ended with 100% of the research subjects in remission."
How can it be both?

I think about it everyday trying to merge as many trips together as I can. Like will I have the energy to go to Walmart and Lowes after getting a root canal because it will be $50 round trip in gas. People who work 30 - 40 miles from home might have half their income go to gas. And now, truckers are posting online that diesel is so high, some are only making $100 a day. Some are saying they won’t drive for that. Diesel prices need to come down for food delivery.

I know a driver and he is no longer taking long distance jobs. He is sticking to shorter in state jobs. He says he isn't the only one. And if enough quit doing those jobs, then either they are going to have to start paying more to get the drivers to take them, which will cause prices to rise. Or, the stuff will just sit and then you get shortages.

they watch a little of their local news and that's it. If high gas prices are a major concern they know it for themselves when they gas up, not from the media.

They don't need to watch TV to figure that out
