.....probably misguided. And I realize that this is grasping at straws at best, particularly since there really is nothing different between a 5-to-4 decision and one that is 6-to-3, when we are getting screwed. But when I saw this official photo of the Supreme Court, with Chief Justice Roberts looking to his "left", at Justices Sotomayor and Breyer, I had a brief pang of hope that maybe the future won't be so bad.



Of course, one look at Amy Coney Barrett was enough to temper any such hope.
