Republicans have dismissed various Democratic ideas — expanded background checks, red flag laws, and bans or age restrictions on rifle purchases — alleging they violate the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and only restrict law abiding gun owners as opposed to mass murderers. One Republican state senator characterized the armed teachers proposal as the most important legislation of his career to stop school shootings.

Ohio decided to arm the teachers. Brilliant! The police in Texas had the best body armor and weapons yet cowered in fear outside the classroom as one child after another was slaughtered. So to solve the problem is arming the teachers with a pistol, no armor and little training. They want the teachers to do what the cowardly police are paid to do, are trained to do and failed to do

As I said, what's next?



Make the churches safer by arming the pastor, perhaps the choir as well. The supermarket? I don't know, maybe the butcher and the bakery department. A theater? Maybe the staff at the concession stand.

Police today accidentally shot a teacher that was armed and firing a pistol, they believed he was the shooter/perp that mowed down 15 students. He was firing to protect his students. In the mayhem the 18 year old boy with the automatic rifle fled the scene.
