Iowa Primary: Mike Franken won big.

Now he needs to beat Grassley, who has no f***ing business running again. He has been in that seat for 42 years. In September he will turn 89. His next term will end when he is 95. That is ridiculous. And the rumors are that he will resign so his grandson can be appointed. The Grassley family doesn’t own a Senate seat.

I am so sick of Chuck Grassley. He is just another corrupt self-serving millionaire in the pocket of big business and the NRA. He couldn’t care less about the people of Iowa.

And without sounding mean, I don’t think he is all there.

Does this Mike Franken have a chance in the General in November?

It seems that Iowans are getting tired of him. His approval rating is only 45%. He says stupid stuff at town halls, is an NRA lackey, and he is very old and acts it. At a recent town hall in a rural republican area people were angry with him over guns. So, maybe it could finally be the election he loses.

Someone who is 42 years old in Iowa has had Grassley as a Senator every day of their entire life!

Grassley would likely win in this state against the recognized second coming.

That said, Grassley did run a primary TV ad — against Franken and Abby Finkenauer. That might mean he’s a little nervous. I’ve only ever seen him run TV ads in one election, about 1998. It showed him mowing his lawn by towing three lawn mowers welded together. Seriously.

It looks like Franken is a good candidate who was actually the underdog in the Primary race.

Fingers crossed.

That Chuck might be implicated in the J6 business. He announced in advance that Pence might not preside over the electoral college count.
