Would you go trial where your only defense is a Big Lie?

That's what the leaders of the coup could be facing. Their only defense is the election was stolen, We tried to save America. What we did was legal. We could call it the Navarro defense.

If we use what has happened to the oath keepers and proud boys as an example. Some of them have pled not guilty. Some of them have made plea deals and are telling all.

If the leaders of the coup are indicted, most likely we will see the same thing happen. Some will plead not guilty even though they have no defense. Others will know they are screwed and they will make a plea deal, telling all. They will try to save their own asses.

Hang on tight, it's going to be a hell of a ride.

Fuck Trump.

because some guy told you the bank shorted your account. No defense attorney would ever argue such an absurd defense, and the judge would throw the book at you for being so brazen. Still, these credulous imbeciles won't admit they were conned by Trump, a consummate bullshit artist who's made a career of parting fools from their money.

I was just making a "legitimate cash withdrawal".
And the insurrectionists were merely "touring the Capitol" that day!
