Interesting interview of Woodward and Bernstein by Woodruff on PBS Newshour
(I even broke my long standing "no TV" rule to watch that interview)
"Nixon and Trump were both criminal presidents"
"Trump is seditious. Even Nixon did not go that far. Nixon left. Trump refused to go despite zero evidence of election issues"
"There were courageous republicans back then. We are missing that now"
"Trump is more of a danger to our democracy"
"Both Nixon and Trump were driven by hate"
"If trump runs again, and wins, our country will never, ever be the same"
etc etc.
So amazing to hear this and to think that trump could possibly run again - and that his supporters...well, still support him.
Once again, it is clear we are witnessing a bizarre, deranged cult.
