Thoughts & Prayers
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Republican traitors whose crimes will be exposed by the Jan-6 hearings.
I say this because we all know that the expression of thoughts and prayers is GOP-speak for "Fuck you, I couldn't care less about your poverty, your lack of affordable health care, and your dead school children."
It is in that spirit that I express my condolences for those Republicans who will undoubtedly spend the remainder of their political careers squirming in their elected seats, trying to explain how their participation in an attempt to overthrow democracy was actually part of defending the Constitution, as per their oath to do so.
On the eve of the first of the public Jan-6 hearings, my thoughts and prayers are with the traitors who foolishly believed that illegally re-installing Trump as POTUS would be successful, and hoped that their efforts to make that happen would be rewarded - and in the doing, simply forgot to cover their tracks.
And so I am expressing my thoughts and prayers to all of those Republicans whose political lives are about to end.
In other words, "Fuck you, I couldn't care less about your political ambitions, your lack of ethics, and your dead careers."
You who are about to die, we salute you - and send our thoughts and prayers accordingly.
