aka They will watch the hearings, set up their counter narrative stories, and then
broadcast "their coverage" after the hearings are over and 80 + % of Fox News
watchers are asleep.
"Fox News Channels primetime programs will cover the hearings as news warrants.
At 11 p.m. ET, Fox News @ Night anchor and chief legal correspondent Shannon Bream
will anchor a two-hour live special joined by Baier and MacCallum for news analysis
through 1 a.m. ET."

Jan. 6th 2021 was about the attempted overthrow of our Constitutional Democracy by violence,
massive law breaking, and hundreds of people including a sitting President went right along with
that. Spin that Fox.

(70,447 posts)Not at all. Jan. 6th and the things leading up to it and afterwards are some of the
most important events in America's history and Fox knows just how damning the
story will be and in the end there will be no way to spin "it."
BTW Fox was a co-producer in the Jan. 6, 2021 attempted coup.

(4,845 posts)You don't let the people listen to "news" or information on their own because they would come up with their own idea or opinion about the subject. You first craft your "opinion" and repeat your "opinion" a thousand times with all different hosts. Then your "opinion" is reinforced into people's mind no matter how ridiculous, stupid, or distorted that "opinion" is.

Their reliance on the lowest common denominator of the market as an audience is a quirky, but effective model.

At least we could "pretend" to be covering it?

(70,447 posts)... liberal media that made him look bad which in a large part he got run from office. Ailes and Murdoch
developed Fox News in order to spread lies, propaganda, and to get a certain % of Americans angry at
people they disagree with. Fox is a cancer on America.
