Because he and his Republican colleagues have bent over backward for the last 16 months trying to persuade the country that people with guns, knives and zip ties are just tourists taking a leisurely stroll through the Capitol. He and his colleagues have also been saying for years that the best solution to government tyranny and overreach involves the use of firearms, the more lethal, the more better.

So for those of you who complain that Republicans don't appear to have standards, they have double standards!
